Its disciplined vertical channel tufting references the revival of linear upholstery forms seen in post-war Italian ateliers, where rationalist principles were translated into domestic seating. Unlike earlier Art Deco curvature, this design embraces architectural clarity - boxed arms, continuous seat plane, and elevated metal legs that visually lighten the mass.

The channel-back construction distributes padding evenly while maintaining structural integrity, a method widely adopted in Italian leather workshops during the period.
