Inspired by the elegant canapés that furnished the fashionable salons of eighteenth-century France, The Salon de Flore Louis XV Canapé celebrates the grace and refinement of the Louis XV style. Emerging during the Rococo period, Louis XV furniture marked a departure from rigid formality, embracing fluid curves, naturalistic ornament, and a new emphasis on comfort and conversation. It was furniture designed not for ceremony alone, but for the art of living.

Handcrafted from solid teak wood, this canapé features the hallmarks of the Louis XV aesthetic: a serpentine crest rail, flowing cabriole legs, scrolling arms, and delicately carved floral motifs that appear to grow organically from the frame. The richly upholstered seat and backrest are dressed in an elegant woven fabric whose botanical pattern echoes the floral themes favoured in French decorative arts during the eighteenth century. Individually applied brass nailhead trim further accentuates the silhouette while honouring traditional upholstery techniques.
