This refined pair of bedside tables is conceived in the Louis XV tradition, reflecting the elegant Rococo furniture produced in provincial France, circa 1740–1765. The gently curving cabriole legs, scalloped apron, and softened case construction embody the Louis XV preference for fluidity, comfort, and visual lightness. Crafted in solid hardwood, the restrained grain and warm patina recall the practical luxury of Normandy’s regional workshops, where Parisian fashion was interpreted with quieter restraint. 

Each table is fitted with a discreet upper drawer and a lower cupboard, a configuration historically favored for bedside use, accommodating personal objects, candles, books, and linens while maintaining graceful proportions. Balanced, intimate in scale, and unmistakably French, these tables exemplify the domestic refinement of the Ancien Régime interior.
