The Carlton House Regency Leather Salon Suite draws its inspiration from the refined furniture traditions of Regency London in the early nineteenth century. The form recalls the elegant seating produced for aristocratic townhouses and private salons during the period of the Prince Regent (later King George IV), when furniture makers such as George Smith and Thomas Hope popularized classical silhouettes with disciplined craftsmanship.
Crafted with an exposed hardwood frame, the suite reflects the restrained elegance typical of Regency seating. The gently scrolled arms, tapered legs, and balanced proportions echo the architectural influence of classical antiquity that shaped London interiors between 1810 and 1830. Upholstered in rich black Italian leather and finished with traditional brass nailhead trim, the seating preserves the dignified character long associated with English club rooms and drawing rooms.

The three-seater settee accompanied by two armchairs forms a distinguished salon arrangement suited to studies, libraries, and formal living rooms.
