The Lincoln's Inn Chambers Oxblood Leather Loveseat draws on the deep-buttoned Chesterfield-style tradition that furnished London's Inns of Court and private libraries from the Victorian era onward, when coil-sprung tufting replaced horsehair rigidity. Oxblood - a hue named for literal ox blood, used as a leather dye since the 1690s - became the signature color of England's legal and scholarly interiors.

Hand-finished in waxed, two-tone oxblood leather with a hand-antiqued patina, this genuine leather loveseat features diamond deep-button tufting across its backrest, rolled club arms trimmed in brass nailhead studs, and a buttoned front rail. Its fully leather-clad reverse means it's built for freestanding placement at the center of a room, just as grand 19th-century chambers furniture was made to be seen from every angle.
