On Paris's Left Bank, café terraces held the city's writers and painters long past midnight - and the furniture that filled their salons and smoking rooms was built the same way: low, deep, and gently rounded, made for unhurried conversation. The Saint-Germain Midnight Club Settee carries that French Art Deco lineage forward. Its tall, balloon-curved back and tightly scrolled arms are finished in hand-applied nailhead trim, a nod to traditional Parisian upholstery (clou de tapissier) work, with almost no exposed wood beyond the angled, dark-stained block feet - a hallmark of 1920s–30s French club furniture. 

Wrapped in rich oxblood leather that deepens to burgundy in low light, this two-seat leather settee pairs a dignified, upright back with a low, wide seat for genuine period proportion. It's a substantial anchor piece: wide enough for two, sturdy enough for daily use, and detailed enough to reward a closer look.
