A faithful revival of mid-18th-century French Provincial elegance, this six-seater dining suite draws directly from the design vocabulary that flourished during the reign of Louis XV (1715–1774) - a period that championed naturalistic motifs, fluid silhouettes, and the refinement of domestic comfort.

The dining table, crafted in richly grained hardwood, features an elongated oval top framed with a gently serpentine apron - a hallmark of Rococo restraint in the provinces, where ornamentation was softened compared to the exuberant Parisian ateliers. The hand-carved acanthus sprays along the apron and knees recall motifs found in the workshops of Lyon and Bordeaux, where cabinetmakers specialized in translating royal tastes into forms suited to bourgeois interiors. 

Its cabriole legs, terminating in subtle scroll feet, possess the characteristic “S-curve” that defined the period - an ergonomic and visual innovation that distinguished Louis XV furniture from the rectilinear austerity of earlier styles. 

The six matching fauteuil-style dining chairs carry the unmistakable signature of French Provincial craftsmanship:
Hand-woven cane backs, mirroring 18th-century seating developed for both ventilation and comfort.
Curvaceous frames carved with restrained Rococo detailing, evoking shells, foliage, and organic forms.
